Finally! When we moved into this house 4.5 yrs ago, I took along the curtains that I had made for some windows in that house. They worked somewhat in this living room, but were a little small. Since we've been renovating this house for the past 3 yrs, I never got around to changing them. I purchased this material back in August, and kept forgetting to pick up the lining for it. I made a special trip to go get it this week so I could make them. I cut them out yesterday, and started sewing today. I L.O.V.E. love them! I am still looking for a dark brown for a swag for the top. I thought I found the perfect match, but when I brought it home, it's totally off! I hope I can find something different.
The before and after pics are sure amazing. I can't believe how much it changed the room.

Long sleeve sleep sacks
Here are a few more long sleeve sleep sacks. The perfect garment for a child who kicks their blankets off! I know if I had thought of making them when my kids were young enough, I would have loved them! Our house is quite cold at night. I normally have a portable heater in the kids room so it's not so cold. My hubby still has to insulate the floor under the girls room. Hopefully before we get a North Easter!
I hope S enjoys these sleep sacks for her daughter!

Klompen Dancing Dresses
Back in the spring I made these Klompen Dancing dresses for these two little girls. I forgot to take pics of them before I delivered the dresses to the girls, and their Mom was kind enough to get some to me. Every spring a town nearby has a dutch festival (I think last year it was changed to a culture festival) and they have Klompen Dancing. So enjoy a pic of the two girls wearing their dresses, and then a few of them in action!

A few Sleep sacks
It's been busy lately- lots of sleep sacks have been ordered and completed! I was able to make a few in new fabric that I will share here. I think it's so boring to keep posting sleep sacks form the same material over and over. I have 3 fabrics that have been quite popular. I must have made at least 10 in the Round About, and about as many in Carnival Bloom and Lolli Dot. This is also a Lolli Dot, but in a different color- so refreshing!
