Diaper bag

A diaper bag for te same customer- it's a little different from her purse- a different pocket inside- 1 long adjustable strap, and this one has some width to it. I like it just the same!

This purse was made using a print I love! She picked out the design, and emailed the pic over. It has a small open pocket , and zippered pocket, both on the inside.

Tote Bag

Yay! Something different! This is the tote bag I mae for my MIL for Christmas. She is returning to work part time in the new year~ after almost 30 years as a stay at home Wife/Mom~ and i thought she might need a nice bag to carry her lunch and other items to and from. She like it, so BONUS! :)

I didn't have a pattern- once you've made a few, Tote bags are pretty basic. Since I don't like the look of visible seams~ (yes even serged on the inside of a bag) I knew I wanted to line it. It is a larger size- I never measured it, so I'm not sure how big. I interfaced the lining with a medium weight for added stiffness. The outer fabric is a Home Dec, so it has some stability already. The straps are also interfaced, and are long enough to carry on the shoulder or in the hands (for lack of better wording). I added a pocket to the interior since I thought it might come in handy.

Blankets, sleep sacks and more!!!!

I thought I would update you on what I have been doing since my last post.
I had planned to have a table at a local Summer festival, but plans for that fell through when a family thing was planned for the same day!
I had been sewing items for a few weeks for the table, and now have a lot of pre-sewn items ready for next time I guess! :) I made over 15 blankets, 12 sleep sacks, a few skirts, and some other misc items for it. Now I have quite a few more sleep sacks cut and serged, and ideas for some bags for next time!
On a different, note, I am contemplating on having a giveaway in the next few weeks! Stay tuned for more info!

A few bags

Here are 2 bags I made for my sister in law. She wanted a big stiff diaper bag, and a bag that she could use for the beach, or just heading out, and be able to throw a bunch of stuff in.
The diaper bag has a large back zippered pocket and 2 side pockets on the outside, and 2 larger pockets on the inside.
The big "multi bag" has two large pockets (11"x11") on the inside, one of them zippered, and the other with a magnetic snap. Both bags close with a magnetic snap.
I usually try to take more detailed pics, but she came by to pick them up as I was doing the last few stitches. :)
It's always fun trying something new!
